Territory Manager – QLD

The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team as a Territory Manager responsible for Metropolitan and regional QLD. This role is responsible for the account management and development of a designated geographical area, working across a wide range of customers and sales channels, to ensure achievement of sales targets and profit.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of this area, make it their own and ultimately grow and develop it.
This role covers a large geographical area and will involve some overnight travel

What you will bring?
- A strong background in sales, account management and a minimum of 3 years recent experience selling into independent retailers
- Experience within the Soft Toy, Gift or Nursery categories preferred
- Tertiary qualifications also highly regarded
- Proven ability to manage call cycles efficiently and to meet and exceed your sales targets
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Great written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service orientation
- Willingness and ability to prospect for new customers
- A desire to learn, develop and grow
- Prepared to travel frequently and be away from home if required.
