Minfos is looking for a Test Analyst to join their BAU team.
The opportunity:
The Test Analyst will perform system testing, integration testing, regression testing, User Acceptance Testing and end to end testing to provide Quality Assurance on defects and enhancements.What you will do:
- Participate and learn to lead QA sprint activities
- Adherence to quality standards and best practice for story/enhancements and/or bugs tested
- Define test scope, conditions and data requirements
- Contribute to all aspects of software development with a focused team of peers
- Work alongside Business Analyst to understand client requirements
- Conduct tests and analyse results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements
- Participate in a Scrum development process
- Work alongside third party to undertake end to end testing of the solution
What we are looking for:
- Exploratory testing experience
- Experience in working with pharmacy software or similar would be advantageous
- Ability to learn to identify and write test scenarios
- Natural curiosity and inclination to investigate areas in order to meet the requirements
- Ability to facilitate and build integrity into the software development process
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Some understanding of the SDLC, including a variety of development approaches including AGILE, SCRUM, V-Model and Waterfall
- Ability to learn test processes and best practices
- Experience in participating in a team environment and the ability to work with minimal supervisio
- Familiarity in the use of Confluence, JIRA Project and Defect Management Tool
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software tools
- Some experience or a desire to learn testing services and API’s using REST or similar tools
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
