Their IT team brings purpose to life every day by driving innovation and building flexible and simplified technology solutions.This exciting role as a Senior Telematics Test analyst, is primarily responsible for assisting with evaluation of connected vehicle related OEM products, in accordance with all relevant regulations. Testing is to be conducted within very strict timelines to achieve effective delivery of products and programs in line with lead vehicle build timing.
Your new roleAs a Senior Test analyst, your role and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Contributes to the implementation and maintenance of agreed processes and procedures in order to achieve product development objectives.
- With guidance from the Telematics Development team, they conduct evaluation activity of products and service services, ensuring that quality standards are met. Investigates and resolves issues relating to connected vehicle systems.
- Ensures that the connected vehicle design is tested and validated prior to the start of mass production through the planning, development and application of evaluation methods. Monitors operational performance and resolves issues as they arise.
- Gathers and summarises connected vehicle related technical data and instructions. Supports liaison with stakeholders regarding connected vehicles by updating specifications and documentation.
- Supports scheduling and planning activities for projects.
- Prepares and distributes data and reports, in order to ensure sound decision-making based on accurate and timely information.
- Helps to maintain reporting systems in order to provide the business with accurate and timely information to support planning, budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitors own tasks with respect to compliance with all relevant regulations and statutory requirements in order to minimise risk exposure and liabilities.
What you'll need to succeedThis position would suit an applicant who has demonstrated test experience with electronics products and communication protocols:
- Degree qualification in engineering, electronics, communications, computer systems, software or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience as Test Analyst of electronics projects, through phases of design, development and evaluation
- Interest in and/or strong understanding of AU homologation requirements
- Interest in and/or strong understanding of automotive & telecommunications systems, including in-car and communication protocols
- Interest in and/or understanding of the automotive industry and its market trends
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Office suite, JIRA, and CANoE.
- Experience in Python and other coding languages.
