Responsibilities
- Work with Business Analysts to understand the Business requirements and Proposed Solution
- Contribute to Requirement definition & refinement along with Business Analyst
- Create test requirements and develop test scenarios and reports based on user stories or Functional Specifications
- Work with technology teams to obtain necessary data inputs to cover the technical test cases
- Responsible to manage and create all Test Artifacts by following the defined process. This includes the Test Plan, Test Scenarios and Test Cases during the Project Execution phase.
- Evaluate the test environment setup (test data, configuration/parameters for testing) and readiness checks
- Execute and Analyse the test results and raise defects to development team for issue resolution
- Provide UAT Support UAT and participate actively in UAT review sessions
- Periodically report the progress and escalate issues to the Project team
Qualifications
Requirements
- At least 7-year relevant working experience as a Test Analyst or Test Lead in Private Banks, Investment Banks or relevant financial institutions. Have a broad understanding of the wealth management industrial trend and key players
- Good knowledge of Investment products, such as Securities, Derivatives, Money Market and Treasury Products and good understanding of how these products are priced, traded in the market
- Good understanding of the regulation and settlement processes of the Securities, Derivatives, Money Market and Treasury Products
- Good understanding and working experience on Products suitability and pre-trade checks as well as Core banking system such as Temenos, Triple A is a definite advantage for the candidate
- Strong Interest in wealth management and financial markets is essential
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with strong ability to manage all the stakeholders across different business streams
- Good understanding of Agile principles and familiarity in different development & testing methodologies
- Possesses critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Degree in computer or financial discipline preferred
