Role Overview:
Our customer relies on the Technology One Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Platform (TechOne Ci) to provide multiple enterprise functions including but not limited to Finance, Property and Rating, Asset & Contract Management. Currently in the design phase of a major, multiyear program as they move to TechOne CiA Software as a Service (SaaS). Microsoft 365 and Azure stack, Frontier iChris, ServiceNow, Genesys and PageUp are examples of other enterprise applications within the technology landscape. In addition, the customer has various other projects driven from that aim to bring the organisation’s technology foundations up to a contemporary industry standard, ensuring technology capability, processes, and resources across the organisation are optimised, integrated, safe, and compliant. Delivery methodologies include both agile and waterfall.
Job Responsibilities:
Test Automation Architect:
The intent of a Test Automation Architect is to strategically design and implement automated testing solutions for software projects. Their focus is on guiding the automation strategy to enhance efficiency, reliability, and maintainability of automated test suites. The goal is to optimize the testing process through automation to achieve faster and more effective software delivery.
Key responsibilities of a Test Automation Architect include designing and implementing scalable Test Automation frameworks, selecting appropriate automation tools, collaborating with development, and testing teams to identify automation opportunities, providing guidance on automation best practices, ensuring test scripts are maintainable and reusable, integrating automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline. They play a critical role in optimizing the overall testing process through strategic automation.
