Test & Commissioning Manager - QTMP

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Test & Commissioning Manager to play a crucial role in our state-shaping project, the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP). Reporting directly to the General Manager of Rollingstock Works, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of test and commissioning activities for the project. You will be accountable for:

• Developing end to end test plans in conjunction with our JV partners.
• Ensuring tests and test documents are inline with regulatory standards
• Involvement in design reviews regarding testing equipment and layout
• Stakeholder and subcontractor liaison
• Involvement in testing phases - this will involve a period of FIFO
• Management of a small team of direct reports

This is a fulltime, permanent role, and will initially be based in Brisbane, with a view that the successful person relocates to Torbanlea once we enter delivery phase.
About You:

• 10+ years relevant experience in rollingstock manufacturing
• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering (highly desriable)
• Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work
• Strong knowledge of relevant Australian Standards
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
