About the Project Embark on a groundbreaking journey with a State Government Department as they spearhead the Spatial Digital project. The aim? To construct a digital model of real-life assets within the State Government Department, empowering the organisation with invaluable insights for assessment, scenario planning, and decision-making throughout the asset lifecycle.
Primary Purpose of the Role As our Test Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness and reliability of our spatial digital twin and GIS capabilities across organisational domains. Your responsibilities include:
Leading testing efforts to validate the acquisition and preparation of spatial and non-spatial data. Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, with a focus on operational workflows and data integration. Collaborating with project teams to enforce quality assurance processes and enhance the overall project quality. Providing expertise in testing methodologies and tools to optimise the testing process.
Key Accountabilities You'll be responsible for:
Managing testing activities to ensure alignment with business requirements and timely project delivery. Developing a comprehensive test strategy aligned with programme objectives. Leading testing activities in a multi-vendor, multi-platform environment. Implementing quality assurance processes and validating user interfaces and applications. Creating, reviewing, and managing test artefacts across all testing phases.
Experience Advantage If you have experience in the following areas, it's a plus:
Test Assurance Management within large and medium-sized enterprises. Testing of SaaS and cloud-based systems, including Azure and AWS. Leadership experience managing technical and non-technical test analysts. Testing of 2D & 3D spatial data components and familiarity with agile methodologies. Experience with ETL processes within spatial and non-spatial data pipelines. Ideally, you'll be located in the Sydney metropolitan area.
