The Serco ICT Digital Team at Fiona Stanley Hospital

About the Role
The Test Team Lead manages the test resources within the team and ensures alignment with strategic and business outcomes and objectives. Additionally, they manage the additional Project Test Analysts and deliverables, to meet the completion of Digital Program office pipeline.
You will be responsible for ensuring ICT hardware and software meets specified performance requirements through the build and deployment phases, and aligns test processes with operational and project teams, including defect identification and rectification.
This role will provide advice to, and build strong relationships, with key stakeholders and perform ongoing improvement of test strategies in alignment with the wider ICT service and business strategies. This role is expected to drive a culture of customer excellence within the Test and Release team, providing an accountable point of support escalation and team management.
You may be required to participate in an on-call roster.

About You
You have a passion for detecting and solving problems and an eagle-eye for detail along with the ability to see the overall picture. You can set clear team objectives and establish courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed on time. You can easily adapt to change and possess efficient planning skills and an ability to adhere to deadlines.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of seven years' experience in the field of testing
- Experience in motivating, coaching, building and managing a high performing team.
- Experience undertaking resource planning, including time and effort record.
- In-depth knowledge of software development and superb analytical skills
- Experience in test techniques and programming
- Experience and working knowledge of test automation tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium etc.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related technical discipline.
Desirable
- Desirable - ITIL Foundation Training
- Desirable – Working experience with CI/CD processes
- Prior WA health application testing experience (highly desirable)
