About the role:
The Hills Shire Council is seeking a reliable and experienced Community Transport Bus Driver to join our team. As a Community Transport Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting members of our community to and from various destinations.
Duties include:
• Safe Driving: Drive the COMMUNITY TRANSPORT BUS in accordance with local traffic laws and regulations. Maintain a safe driving record and ensure that the bus is always in good condition.
• Regular cleaning and disinfecting the vehicles to ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers. By upholding high standards of cleanliness, our drivers contribute to creating a comfortable and pleasant environment during each journey
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers. Be polite, friendly, and responsive to their needs. Assist with boarding and exiting passengers, and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the bus to ensure it is clean and in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have:
1. NSW Driver License (Class – LR) (minimum)
2. Bus Drivers Authority

Casual Basis, T361, Salary From: $39.63 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) + Superannuation + Organisational Bonus (up to $2k) + Aquatic and Fitness membership discounts
