Great opportunity to join our excellent Day Surgery team.Work with a variety of patients in our three operating theatres. $33.79 per hour plus 11% superannuationOngoing, part-time position Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday - 8:30am till 5pm. If you are highly motivated, enjoy working in a high-pressure environment and have great telephone skills with a smile in your voice, then we would like to hear from you!Your responsibilities will include:Booking theatre appointments, rescheduling patients, booking anaesthetic consults, assisting with pre-admission clinics, and processing referrals.Monitoring waitlists for Oral Surgery, Paedodontics and Special Needs departments ensuring that patients have updated medical records and questionnaires.Acting as a liaison for the Nurse Unit Manager, Director of Anaesthesia, relevant external parties and the patients to ensure effective theatre utilization.To be successful in this role you will need:High level of attention to detail and continuous quality assurance of data collected.Excellent data entry skills.Ability to work independently and be a team player.Knowledge of operating theatre suite and Day Surgery facilities is preferred.
