Theatre Coordinator
Permanent Part-Time (50 hours per fortnight)

Bethesda Health Care is excited to welcome a passionate and dedicated healthcare professional to our esteemed Perioperative Services Department. Our state-of-the-art theatres and welcoming work environment reflect our commitment to exceptional healthcare.

We are seeking an experienced Theatre Coordinator to join our supportive team. In this critical role, you will coordinate the daily operations of the Theatre, CSSD, and Recovery departments, including managing resourcing needs. Working closely with the Theatre Area Manager, you will coordinate daily staff and theatre suite operations, ensuring the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient care. You will also offer direction and support to all staff in the department, monitoring and evaluating patient care processes to maintain high standards of care.

What You'll Bring:

  • Registered Nurse qualification and AHPRA registration
  • Current Police Check (no more than six months old), Working with Children Check and Right to Work in Australia 
  • Ability to demonstrate current best practice in nursing by ACORN Standards
  • Strong teamwork skills with well-developed written and verbal communication, organisation, and time management abilities
  • A commitment to continuous personal and professional development

What Would Be Great to Have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Coordinator role or senior expertise across multiple specialties
  • Formal qualification in Management Clinical specialisation in a specific area of nursing
  • Familiarity with quality improvement and risk management frameworks
  • Knowledge of National Standards and their application in the perioperative area
  • Proven skills in planning, policy, and Financial Management
