About us
Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals are leading providers operating theatre services, designed to provide the best possible environment for patients and their surgeons. Our hospitals are highly automated with specialised surgical lighting and remote camera systems, they are well-appointed and equipped with on-site Central Sterilisation Departments and are maintained with contemporary technologies and instrumentation. Virtus Specialist Day Hospitals form a network of day hospitals across the east coast of Australia extending into NSW, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
The Role
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate the ability to consistently deliver exceptional patient care with kindness, helpfulness and compassion. A strong focus on customer service will also be required. As an important point of contact for our patients, the following would be desirable from this special candidate:

- Commitment to privacy and confidentiality
- Compassion and empathy for a diverse range of patients
- Effective organisational and time management skills with an ability to sense prioritisation

The successful candidate will have
- Recent work as a hospital orderly or operating Theatre Orderly
- Experience in a similar role
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A professional, friendly, patient and courteous manner
- Excellent articulation and telephone skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
