About the Program
In the ACT, the Foundation currently provides therapeutic services in out of home care for carers and children/young people in foster care and kinship care, delivering therapeutic interventions to children, providing direct support to children, as well as building capacity in carers and care teams to develop and implement therapeutic responses to children impacted by trauma.

In July 2022, the Foundation was funded to deliver Heartfelt, a pilot therapeutic group program for children and mothers affected by family violence. The program was expanded in May 2024 to include a separate therapeutic group for mothers and individual or dyadic counselling for children who have experienced and/or been impacted by family violence. The successful candidate will take an integrated case management approach that will be based on a shared understanding of the risks and needs for support for children and mothers affected by family violence.
