AddressOur client operates a busy Timber Yard located in Kilsyth, VIC and they are looking for new employees to join their growing business.
General warehouse and stock duties
Monday - Friday 2pm - 10.20pm
$31.88 per hour
Casual ongoing work
38 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurate picking, packing, and checking of orders
- Wrapping and strapping orders
- Effectively communicate with supervisor on progress and any issues
- Follow company procedures, policies, processes, signage, PPE, and other safety related requirements in place to reduce safety risks
- Report safety risks, incidents, or breaches to supervisors/Management
- Any other reasonable requests by supervisor or Management
- Must be physically fit with the ability to undertake manual handling activities
- Ability to follow operating procedures
- Ability to follow directions by supervisors and Management
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Basic abilities to read and write, and understand picking slips
- Willingness to learn, improve and adapt
- Ability to understand and perform picking duties using paper and paperless systems (handheld devices)
