Project/Position Introduction

Overview

  • Work from home
  • Permanent part-time
  • 19 hours per fortnight (set fortnightly roster)
    • Week 1 - Thurs 12:30pm to 5:00pm / Sunday 1:00pm to 6:00pm
    • Week 2 - Fri 12:30pm to 5:pm / Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm

Injurynet partners with organisations to deliver a range of innovative workplace medical services such as medical assessments, early intervention programs and medical advisory services.  

These services are all supported by our national independent network of medical practitioners, psychologists and physiotherapists, the largest of its kind in Australia.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Triage Services, this  role will be responsible for providing telephone triage services to clients that are injured at work including:. 

  • Assessing a client's symptoms following injury or illness in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Providing clinical advice and support
  • Provision of early injury management advice and first aid  
  • Recommending further medical or allied health services as required
  • Implementing  new approaches and processes to meet the needs of our business

About you

We want you if you have:

  • Experience as a Registered Nurse (Division 1 or Division 2 – Medication Endorsed)  for at least 3 years
  • Experience as a telephone triage nurse is advantageous
  • Superior clinical nursing assessment skills
  • Strengths in building rapport and relationships with clients
  • A reputation as a strong communicator
  • Confidence working with technology and good computer literacy skills
  • A passion for delivering high quality patient care
  • The ability to multi-task with great time management skills (who can manage and meet deadlines)
  • The ability to be a team player who can also work autonomously
  • To be eligible to work from home you will need a suitable internet connection
