To2 Science Technician

Randstad is proud to partner with a Queensland State Government Department in the search for a TO2 Science Technician. This role will support the production team during a surge in workload.

Duties include:

• Execute laboratory procedures involved in vaccine and biological product processing.
• Pack vaccines and other biological products ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain adequate stocks of laboratory consumables.
• Prepare eskies and boxes for vaccine dispatch.
• Clean and sterilize work areas, equipment, and materials to maintain optimal hygiene standards.
• Conduct observations, collect specimens, and perform tests and analyses.
• Record and document data accurately using defined systems.
• Monitor, dispense, order, label, and store chemicals securely.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous laboratory experience, especially within a pharmaceutical setting.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
• Intermediate computer skills and literacy

It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
