PPC Moulding Services is a thriving plastic injection moulding business located in South Western Sydney. We are proud, family-owned business with a primary focus on injection moulding for the medical device, commercial and industrial sectors. We are experts in injection moulding, toolmaking and subassembly and have experienced rapid growth in recent years.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker/Fitter Machinist to join our Tool Maintenance Department. Our aim in this department is to deliver high quality tooling repairs and maintenance on a range of liquid silicone and thermoplastic injection moulding tools.
Day to day, this role will involve:
- benchwork and tool pull down,
- operating CNC machining centre and other metal working equipment
- operation of manual mills and lathes as required
- Manufacturing and setting up jigs and fixtures accurately and efficiently
- Using precision measuring tools to verify the quality of machined parts
- Cross-department collaboration
About You
You will be self-motivated, driven and possess a can-do attitude.
- High attention to detail
- Proven experience with benchwork and repairs and maintenance of tools (essential)
- Proven experience operating CNC mills, Mastercam and/or surface grinders
- Qualifications in toolmaking, machining, or engineering also desirable
- High technical aptitude and broad understanding of CNC machining
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Hours are 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6am to 12pm noon on Fridays.
