About this Opportunity
Loreto College Coorparoo is seeking experienced Touch Football coaches, under the guidance of the Head of Sport, to coach teams from Years 7 to 12 for the Brisbane Metropolitan Touch Association (BMTA) competition on Thursday nights and/or the Queensland All Schools Touch Football competition.
The role of Touch Football Coach includes:
- Perform coaching, management and administrative tasks for the team
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the school training program
- Training - Before and/or after school hours work is required
- BMTA Fixtures - Availability on a Thursday evening to coach fixtures and/or Queensland All Schools Competition Fixtures – Wednesday, 2 October – Sunday, 6 October 2024
- Maintain certification and constantly update knowledge and skills
- Comply with workplace health and safety procedures at the College
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate organisational and time management skills
About you
Touch Football Coaches will:
- Have excellent knowledge and skills of the sport
- Be certified coaches with experience (highly recommended)
- Have the ability to teach and coach a range of players
- Hold a current CPR & First Aid certificate
- Have a Blue Card
