About the Team and the Role
The team you will join is welcoming and knowledgeable and ready to collaborate to continually improve our systems and processes.
This is an ideal role for an enthusiastic Town Planner who is keen to kick-start their career working in a professional team environment.
You will be involved in a range of day-to-day activities including efficient and timely determination of Development Applications and Subdivision certificates, preparing reports involving assessment and regulatory matters.
We are looking for someone who is willing to learn to prepare and give evidence in Court.
You will also have the opportunity to make recommendations to guide decisions on Construction Certificates, Occupation Certificates and proactively resolve issues together within your team.
About You
With Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related area or experience in development assessment, you will be committed to keeping your knowledge current and up to date.
You will bring knowledge of the Environment Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and an ability to interpret legislation, with a strong commitment to quality customer service.
You will have the knowledge and experience to prepare expert legal evidence and appear as a credible witness.
In addition to the above, you will hold a current Class C drivers licence.
