About the Role
The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all our customers, and you will also build strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. This Relief Security Officer role will include working 12-hour shifts, both day and nights. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate the control room
- Provide security, static guarding and crowd control coverage on site
- Patrol the premises
- Enforce local council laws
- Event coverage required on an Adhoc basis
- Conduct mobile patrols if required
- Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all customer enquiries
- Respond to emergency incidents and liaise with emergency personnel
Skills & Experience
- QLD Security Licence – Unarmed and Crowd Control functions as a minimum
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Open Drivers Licence
- Covid vaccinations – 1st and 2nd dose as a minimum
- Hepatitis A & B immunisations – must be willing to obtain
- Have an intermediate level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
