Job summary and project:

Martinus rail are seeking applications from skilled Track workers and Mobile plant operators based in Mackay and surrounding region to work on upcoming regional QLD Track possessions.

 

Required experience for Skilled Track workers:

• Turnout construction & level crossing installation
• Stressing and destressing
• Recons
• General Rail labourers for Clipping & unclipping
• Lift and slew
• Welding and grinding

Required experience for Mobile plant operators:

• Experience on Excavators, Hi rail excavators, Front end loaders
• Moving and transportation of ballast and track material
• Earthmoving
• Final trim
• Detailing
• GPS experience preferred

 

Successful candidates will have the following competencies:

• White card
• RIW card (Rail industry worker)
• QR SARC (Safely access rail corridor)
• QR WET
• Aurizon competency
• CAT1-3 rail medical
• AT Welding Licence
• National statement of attainment for relevant machine or RII
