The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Robotics Operators/Trade Assistants to join the team on a casual basis. Our rosters are typically on a 2:2 basis, working 12-hour days. We pay all hours worked, including lunchbreaks, with superannuation paid on all hours.

Reporting to our site-based Robotics Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for general site set up, including mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and maintenance of pipes, hoses, and fittings. 

Other duties will include but are not limited to:

• Piloting of crawling, or pressurised and inspection ROV’s, both with electric and hydraulic systems
• Setting up of maintenance equipment including pump generators and vehicles
• Operating vehicle mounted cranes and winches, and electrical equipment such as CCTV
• Setting and packing up of cleaning systems
• Minor mechanical and hydraulic tasks
• Troubleshooting and general on-site repairs as needed.
• General onsite support as requested.

About You
You’ve got a solid background in the mining industry or other heavy environment with a technical aptitude and thrive when presented with a problem to troubleshoot.

Technology doesn’t scare you and it’s a bonus if you have a sound working knowledge of sat-phones, Go-Pros and generators!

This role will suit someone looking to work with Tier 1 mining clients, with globally leading technology and who has the flexibility to travel to client sites across the country, on a roster basis. 

You’ll also need:

• HR licence, or the ability to obtain one before commencing
• Dogging ticket
• Working at Heights
• VLC, highly regarded
• Forklift ticket 
• Confined Space
• Current police check
• Current First Aid Certificate

If you don’t hold the above, you must be prepared to obtain them prior to your first day on the job.
