Job Purpose
- The Trade Assistant role supports many aspects of our business. Help our business to be compliant and more efficient.
- Maintain the corporate appearance of RMB Service Groups workshop, yard and vehicles.
- Work with our staff as a 2nd person when required to assist.
Responsibilities
- Perform all duties in line with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures.
- Able to maintain order in the Yard - Workshop - Spare Parts Store areas.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the workshop and yard areas.
- Maintain order and cleanliness of the store and stock areas.
- Maintain as directed stock inventory ins/outs.
- Liaise with and assist logistics companies with goods inwards & outward, including loading and unloading equipment.
- Able to do carry out parts collection including some ability to understand and describe parts required to suppliers and 3rd party services.
- To work with RMB Tradesman and Apprentices to undertake tasks as required.
- Washing, cleaning of company and customer vehicles and equipment
- General yard maintenance to company gardens, workshop and office area including general cleaning duties, to ultimately maintain a good business appearance.
- Delivery of vehicles and customers as and where required (truck licence may be required)
Skills & Competencies
Essential
- Ability to manage competing priorities and manage workload effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact at all levels of the business
- Driving Licence
- Forklift High Risk Licence
- Strong attention to detail.
