About the Role
TEAM is looking for a young ambitious person with a passion for technology, computers and electrical systems, who wishes to start as a Trade Assistant joining one of our top clients. Ideal candidates will have a great work ethic, basic computer skills and keen to start a career in Security system installation. For the right candidate, this role will lead you to be offered a traineeship as a Security Installation Technician working on high end projects across Brisbane.
This position is based at the company’s office in Hillcrest with the candidate travelling to various locations for work from there. You will be given a company uniform (including PPE) that is to be worn every day. This is a great opportunity to work in a positive team-based work culture in a family-owned business with strong opportunities for advancement within the company.
This is an entry-level role that would suit recent school leavers.
Days: Mon – Fri (some weekends)
Start time: 7:30am
Hours: 8-10 hr. shifts
Location: Hillcrest, QLD 4118
Essential Criteria (Must have the following to be eligible for this role)
- Full Australian Citizenship
- Manual Drivers Licence
- Clear police check (ability to pass a police check)
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assist the Technician’s with the installation of control systems.
- Carry out manual handling of Tools and Equipment.
- Skills in electronics ideal but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail/situational awareness.
- Ability to perform basic computer work.
- Strong ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
