Veolia is seeking Trade Assistant's to join the Veolia team on a brand new project located in Portland, Victoria.

What you'll be responsible for
- Assisting tradespeople to prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting and high-pressure water blasting
- Learning and developing painting and blasting skills by assisting qualified and experienced tradespeople.
- Use of electronic testing gear to test atmospheric conditions, blast profile and coating thickness.
- Ensuring quality workmanship on all jobs
- Drive the ‘Always Safe' Culture
What you'll need to be successful
- Experience within construction or blue-collar roles highly regarded
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Current drivers licence
- Strong communication skills and willingness to develop new skills
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices
- Ability to work both in teams and independently
