Position: Trade Assistant
We are currently looking to hire a Trade Assistant for our day shift. Could this be you? Experience is favourable, and mechanical aptitude is a must! You will be working alongside a qualified Fitter and Turner, gaining invaluable experience and knowledge. Your role will involve basic repairs and maintenance of machines and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the qualified fitter in daily tasks.
- Help with breakdowns and maintenance of machines.
- Learn about machine operations and maintenance.
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or machinery setting (advantageous).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
