AddressA leading industrial spray booth manufacturer based in the Dandenong area is after an experienced Trade Assistant to join their team. This organization has been a leader in its Market for well over 40 years and they offer long term career opportunities for people who love to work.
This role is based within their busy manufacturing team and is integral to the smooth operation of the production of their products.
This role:
- To work hand in hand with several Electricians and apprentices
Your role may include the following:
- Switchboard Building (highly desired)
- Installation of hardware and fixtures
- Assisting with the assembly of control system, PLC, I/O’s, control relays and indicators etc.
- Use of basic hand tools and power tools
- Installation of cable trays, ducts, conduits and other cable support systems; which includes cutting material to length and painting.
- Factory based position
Experience required or preferred:
- Experience working in an Electrical workshop
- Good literacy and numeracy a must (As measuring material to be cut is an essential component of this job)
- Be physically fit (Heavy lifting required up to 20 KGS)
- Able to follow instructions
- Have good time management skills
- MUST BE RELIABLE and PUNCTUAL

The role will offer 38 hours a week plus overtime on occasions.
Immediate start expected. Willing to pay $30-$32 per hour (Casual Rate)
