Century Engineering is a dynamic Australian engineering solutions provider. We are a leading supplier of special purpose equipment and components to the Mining, Defence, Power, and Water industries.

Due to our continuing development and success in key industry sectors, we currently have multiple positions available for a Trades Assistants to join our manufacturing team in Edinburgh North.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 The ideal candidate may possess the following criteria:

• Experience and the ability to operate an overhead crane.
• Experience and the ability to operate hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Experience and the ability to read CUT LISTS and BOMS.
• Experience and the ability to operate a saw. 
• A Forklift Licence is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience with tools, cranes and saws.
• May have an ability to read drawings and /or blueprints. 
• Proof of right to work in Australia.

Remuneration will be based on experience and qualifications.

While candidates at various stages of their career will be considered, previous experience with mining or defence work would be highly desirable.

•          You must be available and able to pass a pre-qualification test.

•          You will be tested on your ability to interpret drawings.
