Form of workWe are currently sourcing for an experienced Trade Assistants and Painter/Blasters for one of our leading clients based in Henderson who provide comprehensive asset protection solutions that maintain, repair, and fortify defence and vital infrastructure assets.
This role is for an immediate start working 6.30AM - 2.30PM on a competitive hourly rate of $39.66 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading).
This opportunity involves but are not limited to the duties below:
- Assisting painters and blasters with the removal or application of industrial coatings
- Use of small hand and power tools
- Maintaining paint stock integrity
- Clean, sand, blast, scrape, brush etch and burn surfaces in preparation for spraying
- Mask windows and doors needing protection from spray
- Assist with mixing materials
- Acting as a spotter where required
To be successful in a role with Programmed you must possess the following:
- Experience in a similar role
- Current white card
- Confined Spaces ticket - desirable but not essential
- Elevated work platform ticket - desirable but not essential
- Be available for an immediate start
- Has a police check within the last 3 months or willing to obtain one
- Able to pass a medical and drug & alcohol screen
