ÀBOUT THE ROLE
Due to continued growth and expansion, an opportunity exists for an experienced Trades Assistant to join our Mackay QLD team.
KEY DUTIES
- Assisting tradespersons to complete tasks in a timely manner
- On site and workshop work
- Deliveries and pick ups
- General housekeeping
REQUIREMENTS
- Have proven previous experience working as a Trade Assistant
- Mining/site experience highly regarded
- Experience and knowledge in materials handling, conveyor belt systems and associated components such as belt cleaners maintenance, skirting systems and belt tracking
- Tickets such as confined space, working at heights, forklift, dogging, rigging etc highly regarded
- Able to multi-task
- Have a strong mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the square
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work as part of a team
- A current drivers licence
