Major Accountabilities/Key Tasks
The Trade Finance Officer is for providing tailored client services, ensuring all Trade Finance activities are conducted strictly in compliance with policies, rules and regulations, and handling account balancing, reconciliation and balancing through the preparation and processing of:
- Undertake complete process for overseas refinance transactions
- Deliver and process all functions of Trade Finance products and services such as collection, L/C, L/C advising, remittance, and refinancing.
- Assist with client accounts and related business management such as account opening, funds transfer, AUD clearing, anti-money laundering, and client FX, etc.
- Support RM in maintaining and identifying client needs
- Comply with bank policies, controls and frameworks to minimise risk
- Ensure timely processing and follow-up of all assigned work in order of priority as set by departmental procedure
Skills, Experience, Education, licences/ certificates and Knowledge Required
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience
- Relevant qualifications
- Good knowledge of Trade Finance
- High level oral, written and interpersonal communication skills both in English and Mandarin
- Strong ability to plan, coordinate and prioritise workload
- Good customer focus and customer service abilities
- High attention to detail, accuracy and efficiency
- Intermediate to advanced computer knowledge: Microsoft Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, SWIFT System
