Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Trade Marketing Assistant to join our local team in Sydney. The Trade Marketing Assistant will report to the Trade Marketing Executive for the Australian market, with the role of supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies aimed at driving sales and brand visibility within the eyewear/ fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of TRADE MARKETING plans: Liaise with the Trade Marketing Executive for planning, production, and implementation of all in store activities, including point of sales materials, promotions, training, CRM development, etc. plans tailored to specific retail channels and markets (Australia & New Zealand);
- Implement and monitor TRADE MARKETING activities in line with brand strategy and guidelines, within agreed budget and guidelines, tracking results and evaluating ROI for all different optical channels across APAC;
- Assist in coordinating the execution of trade shows and buying day events to assuring the proper product presentations and updates on the marketing plans and their implementation;
- Guarantee effective training to internal and external staff, sharing brand vision and strategy;
- Provide administrative support: Handle administrative tasks such as the Marketing budget, EDM communication, and prepare reports to ensure smooth operations of the TRADE MARKETING department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in marketing within the field of eyewear/ fashion/ luxury goods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) or Salesforce/ Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Passion for the eyewear industry and staying up to date with the latest fashion trends.
