The Comfort Group is Australia’s largest bedding and specialty foams manufacturer, making premium foam and bedding products for several well-known brands, including Sleepyhead, SleepMaker, Beautyrest, Dunlop Foam, and Tattersfield.
The opportunity
You will be responsible for executing marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and boost sales. As well as:
- Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that align with brand objectives and business goals
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, displays, and merchandising efforts to attract consumer attention
- Collaborate with the sales team to create point-of-sale materials and in-store displays that captivate and educate consumers
- Support the product development process and overall management of resources/ priorities related to marketing to ensure successful market launches
- Manage the development of new packaging artwork, coordinating between internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing activations, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement
- Plan trade events and conferences, including attending as required
- Prepare and manage the marketing activation budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for brand growth
About you
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in Trade Marketing, brand management, or related roles, preferably within the consumer goods or retail industry, as well as:
- Proven track record of successful marketing activations and event management
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a keen eye for detail
- Proficient in using marketing analytics tools to measure campaign performance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
