Trade Showroom Sales Specialist

Located in Beverley, our client is a supplier of a comprehensive range of building products and accessories suitable for DIY & larger projects. They have been a successful competitor within this industry for over 10 years and the brand only continues to grow, now opening the opportunity for a Showroom Sales Specialist to join their team.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the company’s success by managing counter sales, customer quoting and invoicing, monitoring stock, etc. Starting on a casual basis, this role offers a 38-hour working week, Monday-Friday with the view for permanency after a qualifying period.
 
Duties will include but are not limited to:
 

• Customer Service Duties; Managing Counter, Phones & Emails
• Quoting & Invoicing for Customers, including follow-ups
• Scheduling of Couriers for Customer Deliveries / Stock Collection
• Management of Showroom; Stocktaking/Maintaining Stock Levels & Tidiness, Organising Delivery of Specials, etc.

Successful applicants will have some or all of the following:
 

• Previous experience working within a Trade Showroom
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Good understanding of customer deliverables
• Attention to detail, with willingness to make suggestions to implement improvement
• Moderate to strong computing skills, particularly in MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience using Point of Sales Software

• $34 - $37p/h (dependant on experience)
