The Role
We are currently looking a hardworking team player to join our busy Trade Team at our Mount Barker Mitre 10 store. The position is Permanent Part-Time 30 hours per weekand available for an immediate start. While previous trade knowledge is advantageous; we ensure we provide plenty of on the job and product knowledge training.
As a Trade Team Member, you will be the face of the business dealing directly with trade customers, assisting with sales, stock replenishment, and developing a strong sales standard within the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide GREAT service and advise customers on hardware products and services
- Build relationships with customers and be able to identify their needs
- Manage stock levels, minimise shrinkage and stock loss
- Maintain correct stock tickets
- Perform stock refill
Requires skills and attributes:
- Strong understanding of WHS requirements
- Customer Service background
- Forklift licence highly desirable
- Knowledge of trade products ideal, but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work within a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
