About The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Trades Assistant will be working with the engineering team performing repairs & maintenance ensuring that all equipment and machinery are operating reliably & efficiently.
The role involves but is not limited to, mechanical works, operating plant equipment such as Forklifts (if qualified), cleaning & readying of machinery for production
As a member of the Alsco Engineering team, you will be responsible for driving a safety-first culture.
Essential Criteria:
- Ideally 1-2 years' experiences with hand tools
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn
- A team approach & a positive outlook
- A keen eye for detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A passion for safety
- Forklift licence preferred
- Ability to work unsupervised
