About the opportunity

As our Trades Assistant, you’ll be responsible for assisting with stripping, repairing and rebuilding our range of submersible pumps. We’re looking for a mechanically minded TA with a willingness to learn, a positive attitude and a great work ethic.

There is the potential for significant career growth within this position for the right candidate with clear and exciting pathways for advancement.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Hands-on disassembling, repairing and reassembling pumps to ensure they are in optimal working condition
• Documenting maintenance activities and creating reports for future reference 
• Assist with logistics, stores and workshop duties as required

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

• Demonstrated experience in a mechanical role
• A valid Western Australia driver licence (or be willing to obtain one)
• Have current Australian working rights 
• A commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to maintaining a clean and organised workplace

It’s not a deal breaker, but we’d also love to see some of the following:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with pumps (or the adaptability and willingness to learn)
• A Forklift Ticket
