The Role
We are seeking motivated and reliable Light Vehicle Technicians, working Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays. We offer the opportunity to routinely service trucks in an express environment.
Over recent years we have employed several light vehicle mechanics, who have all transitioned into working on trucks, buses and diesel engines. They have become valued members of our workshop team and created a new career path for themselves, with further opportunities if desired leading to supervisory positions.

Duties will include:
- Use the latest diagnostic software and computer equipment on a range of trucks
- General service and inspections to engines, gearboxes, brakes, diffs etc.
- Identify and advise of any additional work required
- Completion of service sheets and other job-related documents
- Ensure WHS standards are upheld and work environments are kept organised and tidy
- Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned and maintained to a high standard at all times
Skills / Experience
- Cert 3 in Light Vehicle, Mobile Plant Mechanics (or similar) or demonstrated industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to produce high quality workmanship.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, mathematic ability and customer focus
- Strong computer literacy and sound organisational skills
- An ability to work autonomously and as a team
