An excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual to join the Australian Aero Propeller Maintenance (AAPM) team as a Propeller Technician/Trades Assistant.
This position is full-time and located in Dingley, Victoria.
Reporting:
This position reports to the Workshop Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Carry out propeller MRO work on composite and metal propellers in accordance with appropriate manuals, Company procedures, approvals and authority regulations and requirements.
- Ensuring all tooling is controlled and used in accordance with design function.
- Ensuring all work performed is in accordance with the appropriate approved data.
- Up keeping of the workshop facility, tools and ground equipment.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of WH&S procedures.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Ability to follow workshop manuals.
- Experience in propeller maintenance or aviation MRO will be an advantage but not necessary.
