The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and self-motivated person to work alongside our Service Technicians as a Trade Assistant or an opportunity as an Apprentice or a Mature Aged Apprentice with other Trades background . A strong mechanical aptitude is key with a good foundation of a trades background in your working history would be an advantage along with the ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings and schematics. 

We are searching for applicants who are keen to get into the industry and with the right attitude. Tasks will include Service Technician support including fault finding on equipment and scheduling of repairs within the workshop and on-site.

The Duties

Your duties may include but not limited to:

• Assisting the Service Technicians with installations and repairs 
• Responding to customer service enquiries 
• Fault finding and problem solving
• Able to do heavy lifting

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable, and punctual
• Be motivated with a positive attitude
• Excellent Customer service skills
• Well-developed communication skills, along with a team player attitude
• High level of attention to detail
• Willing to work in a team environment
• Current Manual Drivers license essential
• Proven commitment to safety
• Fork lift, Medium and Heavy Vehicle licenses an advantage but not essential
