Job Description:We are currently seeking experienced Painters to join our team based in Maryborough Qld.
About the role:- All application methods of protective coatings, conventional spray, airless spray, gelcoat spray, brush, and roller
- Completion of surface preparation, mixing processes and paint application
- Perform GRP repairs & modifications including all facets of Fibre Glass repairs.
- Read and interpret drawings, work instructions and specifications
- Proficient in safe storage and usage of solvents, chemicals, and paints
- Apply quality systems and verify quality against compliance standards
- Hands-on with the ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment.
- A comprehensive understanding and commitment to upholding a ZERO Harm environment
Previous experience:- Must have Spray Painting trade qualifications
- Experience in GRP repairs desirable - (Fibre glassing with gelcoat and colour matching experience)
- EWP and working at heights tickets - desirable but NOT essential.
- Heavy Industrial Maintenance or Rollingstock background - desirable but NOT essential
