DFS Traffic Management are looking for Traffic Controllers for an immediate start.
What you'll be responsible for
- Working on secure long term contracts, performing all tasks associated with traffic management for works and/or events
- Implement and monitor operational Traffic Management Plans
- Complete vehicle pre-start checks
- Load and unload vehicles with signage and equipment
- Complete site hazard assessments and implement control measures to suit the site
- Report on site hazards and near misses
- Monitor traffic behaviour and or flow to ensure safety is maintained at all times
- Control traffic, pedestrians and cyclists to protect workers, work crews and members of the public
What you'll need to be successful
- Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM)
- Traffic Control(TC)
- Construction White Card
- (C) Class Drivers licence
- Being able to work independently and within a team environment
- Effective Communication
- Punctuality and reliability
