Who are we looking for?

Working with our client Main Roads WA, we are seeking a Traffic Management Planner based in Northam.  There is flexibility for the role to be performed in Perth a couple of days per week (to be discussed).  This role is a 6 month fixed term opportunity.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Selection of generic and hybrid Traffic Management plans to suit works
• Briefing Roadworks Traffic Managers on details of complex traffic arrangements for approval
• Review of internal/external Traffic Management plans on behalf of the road authority
• Onsite compliance check of the Traffic Management set up on Main Roads construction sites

What you will bring to the team:

• Experience in specifying generic/hybrid Traffic Management plans for implementation
• Negotiating approvals for the use of generic/hybrid Traffic Management plans with key stakeholders
• Working with Roadworks Traffic Managers’ (RTMs’) to secure approvals for working at/near signals
• Experience estimating number of resources required to safely implement Traffic Management according to prescribed Traffic Management plan
• Understanding and/or experience using AS1742.3 and Traffic Management for Works on Roads – Code of Practice
• Completion of the Advanced Worksite Traffic Management (AWTM) certification
