An opportunity has become available for a Train Validation Engineer to join Alstom's Metronet rail project in Nowergup, WA. As part of the Validation team, the Train Validation Engineer is the organiser and planner of all train level validation activities for the project.
Core responsibility of this role are to;
- Lead the organisation and preparation of the testing plans and schedule in accordance with customer requirements, project needs and standards
- Take an agile, proactive and measured approach throughout planning and exécution in response to a broad range of external factors that may impact the plan
- Apply a detailed knowledge of train level testing and demonstrated experience in interfacing with a broad range of stakeholders and can communicate effectively
- Read, review and provide input to the test procedures, plans and customer requirement related documents
- An exceptional technical expert, proven in delivering validation activities with an understanding and consideration for the constraints and requirements of testing at train level
- Proven organisational skills in the planning of validation activities for a train or rail related product
- A customer focused professional, who is natural collaborator and able to communicate across multiple levels
- An agile, solution-oriented and dedicated contributor
- Experience in reviewing test procedures, validation plans and related documentation and customer requirements
