Our Host Employer is a family-owned and operated civil construction company specialising in the installation of underground services utilsiing both Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), excavation and Non Destructive Digging (Hydro Excavation).
They offer the latest equipment, highly experienced staff, and the systems and processes to tackle the most demanding of projects. They are now looking for a hard-working, resilient, and flexible Trainee to join their team!

DESIRED QUALITIES:
- The ability to carry out repetitive heavy lifting & physical manual work
- Willingness to work overtime with occasional travel
- Reliable and punctual
- Hold a current White Card & Drivers License
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting the tradesmen in set up
- Reading and understanding DBYD plans
- Performing Non Destructive Digging (NDD)
- Installing pits
- Drilling operations
- Tracking the drill head
- Managing water and mud
- Driving trucks
Working Monday to Friday 7 am to 3.30 pm with expected overtime each day.
As part of this Traineeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate II Drilling Operations through ON the Job Training with a registered training organisation.
