Gforce Apprentices and Trainees is one of the region's largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees.
We currently have a fulltime vacancy for a highly motivated individual to undertake a 24-month traineeship to complete a Cert III in Horticulture. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to start their career.
The Role:
- Preparing and maintaining lawns and gardens including mowing, edging, blowing, raking, sweeping etc.
- Plant and transplant flowers, shrubs, trees and garden beds.
- Hedging and general garden maintenance
- Maintain lawn and grass areas using machinery, fertilizers and chemicals.
- Contribute to and follow WH&S processes
About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Genuine interest in Horticulture
- Ability to undertake manual/physical work
- Can work independently and within a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- Commitment to both on and off the job training
What to expect:
You will be required to work a 38-hour week (including TAFE training) Mon - Fri 7:30 am - 3:30 pm.
