Trainee Hydrography

· Attain a Diploma from the Australian Hydrographers Association (we pay)
· 12-month fixed term role based in Shenton Park
· Opportunity for a 12-month extension which opens the doors to full time roles once you complete your traineeship.
· Earn while you learn - $59,676 plus 11% super

What you'll be doing:
You can expect variety in your work.
For example, one day you may be required to visit a wastewater treatment plant or drainage site collecting samples.
The next, you may be completing data entry or preparing instruments for field work.

What’s in it for you?
A traineeship that offers you the opportunity to get paid while attaining a Diploma from the Australian Hydrographers Association (We pay for your course work and allow dedicated time to complete your assignments at work)
You will receive on the job learning in the water industry, from site visits to paperwork, you will be 50/50 in the field and in the office.
You will be provided with a work vehicle for site visits. When you travel throughout the state with overnight stays (2-3 days at a time) we arrange accommodation, transport (flying or driving) and you will receive additional allowances for meals.
Key skills and experience:
· Successfully completed Year 12
· Accurate with numbers as measurements will need to be taken in the field
· Hold a full WA Driver’s Licence ‘C Class’
· Ability to work with minimum supervision
· Ability to swim and capable of physical work
· Strong Awareness of Safety in the field
