Molechecks Australia is a highly regarded skin cancer diagnosis clinic and is looking to expand its established team of melanographers.
The successful applicant will undertake computerised screening of patients to detect potentially life-threatening melanoma and other skin cancers, in a medical environment. Ideally you will have a background in nursing or a health-related field. You must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have exceptional attention to detail.
Knowledge of basic computer systems and electronic medical record systems would be an advantage.
Comprehensive training is delivered in-house (initial training up to 4 weeks) with the potential for further external education.
The successful applicants will be part of a professional team, including doctors, other melanographers and nurses. The position will involve set shifts, ranging between 8 - 20 hours per week (with potential to increase), incorporating morning and afternoon shifts.
Occasional evening and weekend shifts may also be required once training is complete.
A current Working With Children check is required.
