As part of our growth strategy and pursuit of continuous advancement of our employees, we have an opportunity for you to join our Chemistry Technologies group as a trainee Patent Attorney.
About our opportunity
Working in one of the best technical Chemical IP groups in the country, with strong ties to academic and industry groups, you will work closely with our experienced team of Patent Attorneys to learn the ins and outs of patent law and practice.
You will assist in drafting patent specifications, conducting patent searches and providing strategic advice to clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in an intellectually stimulating and supportive environment.
About You
To take up this great career opportunity you will have:
- a minimum Bachelor’s qualification in chemistry, metallurgy or chemical engineering;
- an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment;
- an eagerness to learn and develop a career in patent law; and
- a commitment to becoming a registered Patent and Trade Marks Attorney by completing a Master of Intellectual Property (fully funded by Wrays).
