Trainee Sales Consultant - Isuzu UTE

This is an entry level position, ideal for someone who wants a challenge and is eager to take their first step into Sales in the Automotive industry. We will provide full training and hands-on exposure to a Dealership environment.You will be trained to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Engaging with customers on the telephone, online and face to face on the showroom floor
• Understanding and qualifying the customer’s automotive needs
• Vehicle demonstration and test drives
• Understanding and qualifying the customer’s needs
• Motor vehicle registration and government paperwork compliance
• Assisting with delivery coordination; presentation and preparation of vehicle, completing of paperwork and supporting the first-class customer experience
• Vehicle appraisals
• Preparation of vehicle quotes and understanding of the financing process

What you need to succeed in the role:

• Eager to learn sales and customer service skills and demonstrated ability to engage with customers in a professional manner
• Have a love of providing outstanding customer service
• Intermediate demonstrated computer skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office 365 (We don’t need you to know how to code, but you will use a number of different platforms and systems on a daily basis)
• Ability to become a mover and shaker in automotive sales – You will learn from the best in the industry, learning how to negotiate the best deals and remembering that every customer has potential
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in a busy environment with the demonstrated ability to manage the competing demands of a busy environment, work to deadlines and maintain attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A VIC driver's license is essential
• Previous experience in sales, retail or hospitality would be an advantage but not necessary
• Able to work full-time, 5 days per week across a Monday- Saturday roster.
